1. Snow Day Community Builder Bingo
I was recently at a professional development day for teacher leaders where we participated in a bingo card as a community builder. Many of the squares were more specific to adults, so I adjusted it a tiny bit and made one for my class. Here it is!
2. Reading and Goodreads
I read a bunch over Winter Break. I love tracking my reading on Goodreads, seeing my 2019 Year in Books (see the picture for a snippet), and being able to mark books as Want to Read for later.
To kick of 2020, I just finished Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank (Finally, I know!) and Year of Yes by Shonda Rhimes. Both of these made me laugh out loud. Feel free to follow me on Goodreads.
3. Four Corners Game
I have come up with a few uses for this recently, and I’m excited about this figurative language four corners. Included in the review are idioms, metaphors, similes, personification, hyperbole, and onomatopoeia.
